The
Floodgate, flood protection door barrier was developed in the
mid 1990’s in conjunction with the University of Wales and
the Welsh Office.
Floodgate is one of only a handful of flood
protection products to have successfully passed the stringent
physical tests set by the Environment Agency and conducted
by hydrologist engineers from HR Wallingford.
Door barriers in the range are accredited with the BSI Kitemark for flood protection
products for building apertures (PAS 1188-1), the worldwide recognition of quality
and fitness of purpose.
With over 10,000 units currently providing flood protection to properties throughout
the UK, Europe, America and Australasia, we are a world wide leader in the flood
protection industry.
Our wide and varied customer base includes the Environment Agency, local councils,
housing associations, water utility companies, engineering companies as well
as, the general public.
